There's no shortage of payment apps out there, but we like to think that OurPass is one of the best. And, we're proud to announce an update to the OurPass app that we think will further improve your experience.

For starters, the interface has been refreshed across iOS and Android devices so that it feels more modern and intuitive.

We've also added new features such as an explore page, a new checkout analytics page, access to your total online purchase history, access to our new QR payment feature and, most importantly, a new virtual account number.

Why was the former virtual account number changed?

We are dedicated to bringing customers better service and security, which is why we changed our virtual account provider to Sterling Bank- which means your virtual account number has changed.

Unfortunately, this also means that your former account number would no longer be effective and you would have to update your app, and re-enter your BVN to access your new account number.  

You are advised NOT TO send money to your former account number, as it would be unsuccessful. However, your wallet balance would remain unchanged.

What is the name of the new Bank/ Account number provider?

Sterling Bank

This means that whenever you’re trying to fund your OurPass wallet via your new account number, you need to also select Sterling Bank.

How to access your new account number

Here are the steps to follow, to fully access your new account:

  • Ensure your OurPass app is updated
  • Login to the OurPass app
  • Verify your BVN again
  • Click on "Fund Wallet" on the Home Page
  • Select "Bank Transfer" to view your new account number
