Introduce yourself. What do you do?
My name is Kartikey Bhatia and I am the Customer Success Manager at OurPass.
What is the coolest thing about working at OurPass?
The coolest thing for me is the level of involvement you get to have with the company. You will always find a way to add value here at OurPass no matter what level or department you're in.
How is OurPass different from other startups?
OurPass is different because here, you work hard and play hard. This is one of the unique startups that still gives a high value to achieving work-life balance. We believe that if you aren't resting, you won't be productive long-term. That is extremely crucial to us and our employees.
What is your average day like?
Working relentlessly from anywhere, whether home, restaurant or even the supermarket. That's what working at OurPass is like.
What is one interesting thing that happened to you at OurPass?
I came in as a Digital Marketer but I transitioned to Customer Success where I got to build the team and process from scratch.
When you are not working, how do you like to spend your free time?
I watch F1 and motorsport racing with my friends. I also go out with my parents and friends for movies, food and shisha.
If you could describe OurPass in one sentence, what would it be?
What is your proudest accomplishment at OurPass?
I successfully helped build the Customer Success department from scratch.
How has your life changed since working at OurPass?
Life has become so much more productive, and informative. My desire to learn has also increased exponentially.
What lessons have you learned from your stay at OurPass?
The most important lesson I've learned is that customer service is more than doing everything your customers want, it's about understanding what they want and how to deliver it to them.
What has been your biggest challenge yet working at OurPass, and how did you manage it?
The biggest challenge has been timely communication and I managed it by always having plans for more than one channel of communication in place instead of relying only on one communication channel.
